From Refuse Dump to cleaner community: Diaconia Leads Narayi Cleanup

Diaconia volunteers recently restored dignity to Narayi Government School, which had become an overrun refuse dump posing health risks to students and the community.

On a dedicated community service day, our team tackled the site with determination, removing over 300 pounds of accumulated trash, debris, and waste materials. The cleanup effort cleared pathways, revitalized play areas, and created a safer learning environment for children.

Volunteers worked tirelessly, sorting recyclables and properly disposing of waste, demonstrating Diaconia’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community well-being.
