50+ students supported through the Back to School event
Educational supplies distributed, including textbooks, notebooks, and pens
Food assistance provided to participating student
Diaconia for Human Development recently organized a Back to School support event in Xuzhou, China, continuing its global mission of empowering communities and supporting children through education. As part of this commitment, Diaconia hosted a Back to School program designed to assist students and encourage educational success. During the event, more than 50 students received educational support packages containing textbooks, notebooks, writing materials, and food supplies.
For many of the participating students, these resources provide essential tools needed for academic success. Access to basic school materials can make a meaningful difference in a child’s ability to learn, stay motivated, and pursue future opportunities.
The event also served as a reminder to the students that their education matters and that organizations around the world are working to support their growth and potential. The smiles and gratitude expressed by the beneficiaries reflected the positive impact the program had on the local community.
This initiative is part of Diaconia’s broader global efforts to invest in education and community development. Through scholarship programs, food distribution, healthcare support, and agricultural initiatives, the organization continues working to create sustainable change in communities across the world.
The Back to School event in Xuzhou represents another step forward in Diaconia’s mission to empower the next generation and ensure that more children have the opportunity to pursue education and build a brighter future.
