Diaconia Global Services made a remarkable impact on the Indianapolis community during its recent Back to School Giveaway event, held in partnership with the Deeper Life Bible Church on August 4th. This initiative aimed to support local families as they prepared for the new school year, and it succeeded in touching the lives of over 135 children and families. Please note the following details about the support package.
A Comprehensive Support Package
The event provided a wealth of resources to ensure that children were ready for school:
- Backpacks and School Supplies: Each child received a backpack filled with essential school supplies, equipping them for academic success.
- Clothes Drive: In addition to school supplies, we distributed back-to-school clothes through our Clothes Drive initiative, ensuring children had appropriate attire for the new school year.
- Nutritious Snacks: We distributed delicious meat pies, refreshing drinks, and snacks to keep spirits and energy levels up, creating a festive atmosphere celebrating community and togetherness.
Diaconia Global Services demonstrated its commitment to empowering families and supporting education in Indianapolis, Indiana through this comprehensive approach. The Back-to-School Giveaway prepared students for academic success and created lasting memories and connections within the community. Together, we are making a difference—one meal, one backpack, and one piece of clothing at a time!
