Diaconia Global Team conducted a community outreach in Ikono, Uyo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Children/Beneficiaries with good educational potentials were selected from socially disadvantaged families in three (3) neighbouring villages. A lecture on personal/ menstrual hygiene and motivation on priority of education was given.

Our team gave out free hygiene packs containing bathing soap, Vaseline, comb, deodorant, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrush and detergent to all beneficiaries. In addition, Teenage Girls received free sanitary pads while Boys received free boxers and singlets. Our team also gave out free school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, ereasers, crayons, and white socks to all beneficiaries. Their Parents who witnessed the event were overjoyed for such benevolence from Diaconia Global. They all prayed God's Blessings on Diaconia foundation.
