Pop-Up Food Pantry in Kaduna Brings Hope to 90 Households
Impact: 90 Households
December 13th, 2025
Diaconia recently hosted a special pop-up food pantry in Kaduna, extending vital support to 90 households, with a special focus on widows and children facing hardship during the holiday season.
As many families struggle to meet basic needs toward the end of the year, this outreach provided both practical help and emotional encouragement. Households received essential food supplies to sustain them through Christmas and into the New Year.
The initiative partnered with local farmers to source fresh, nutritious food, supporting agricultural livelihoods while strengthening community ties. Volunteers and partners united to ensure families celebrated with dignity and a renewed sense of belonging.
This event reflects Diaconia’s commitment to compassion and collaboration, building resilient communities one family at a time.
